"Patene Silver France XVIII Century "
Old silver paten gilded on one side. It has a spherical section navel whose particularity is that the navel, on its outer part, does not have a flattened surface. The paten bears a goldsmith's mark representing a crowned stag. According to the directory of Master Goldsmiths of Paris published by Henry Nocq, this mark was used by the Parisian goldsmith of the 18th century, Vitet.
