Antique Ercole Moretti Millefiori Glass Bead Necklace, Murano Venezia

Ercole Moretti was established in 1911 on the initiative of three brothers, with the intention of producing two classic types of Venetian glass beads: the “Rosetta” and the mosaic *Millefiori*. Right from their very first years in operation, the Morettis developed a production of *millefiori* beads that immediately stood out, and still does, for their even execution as well as their unusual and unmistakable finish.

This lovely millefiori glass bead necklace is a wonderful example of the early Moretti work.
The beads are uniform in size and measur9 mm 
The complete necklace is hand knotted and each bead is hold by a tiny openworked cup on each side 
End to end it measures 45 cm long without the clasp
All the beads are intact with no chips or cracks. 
The level of detail is quite super.
