"Pulley Stirrup, Gouro People, Ivory Coast"
Weaving pulley stirrup surmounted by a male face forming part of a diamond. The face is well structured with a horizontal line at eye level that separates it in two. A beard and a goatee adorn the lower part while the upper part is delimited by an elaborate hairstyle. The neck is decorated with scarifications. Very beautiful balanced sculpture.

Patina from use and internal wear at the level of the pulley friction. Slots and slight loss on the left stirrup arm.
