"Ancient Persian Art, Kadjar, Islamic Art"
Magnificent Persian dish in tinned copper representing a couple of horsemen surrounded by a frieze with Persian mythological themes, the presumed presence of IBLIS (goat's head on a pike representing the devil) and Simorgh appears there as well as a good number of animals, rabbits, tigers, birds... Polylobed edge. Exceptional brasswork work, very chiseled in good condition, the wear of the tin proves its use. I'm announcing it from the 19th century but maybe it's older?
