Miniature Tortoiseshell Box Decorated With An Officer Of The Empire, Early 19th Century

This miniature box from the beginning of the 19th century represents an officer of the Empire. It is sumptuous, the miniature was made by hand. You will note that this box needs to be restored. We report wear and friction, verdigris on the edge, a missing part of the protective glass at the top and bottom, a ripple on the miniature and a fold on the right side.
