"Strafor Executive Office"
This strafor executive desk from the 60s-70s is in very good condition. It has a double box, all in metal (brushed metal for the legs, beige metal structure for the boxes). The top is made of wood and the drawer fronts are in orange abs. Known for the robustness, quality and industrial style of their furniture, old for over 160 years, the Strasbourg house, which no longer exists today but remains a myth, was first known at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century for the construction of frames and machines dedicated to industry. In the 1920s, it became the forges of Strasbourg and the company specialized in the manufacture of metal furniture branded strafo (then strafor after 1926). After the Second World War and the occupation of the company by the Germans, strafor furniture was very quickly renowned and was quickly found in offices, workshops and factories. In the 1950s, Strafor experienced economic difficulties and found new growth in 1974 when it joined the American-based Steelcase group.
