Rare Louis XV period solid silver sugar sifter spoon, shell fillet pattern. Spatula engraved with a mavelot highlighted with foliage, all topped with a so-called Bridal Crown. Spoon with magnificent pierced decoration articulated around a central rosette of tears and tulips. Charge (crowned and fleuron A) and Discharge (helmeted head in profile) hallmarks for PARIS 1768-74, Jurande hallmark for PARIS 1772 (Crowned I) and Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Louis-Antoine TAILLEPIED (hallmark with crowned fleur-de-lys, two remedy grains, his initials "LAT' and a foot) received in 1760.
