Rare Reims tulip cup in solid silver from the Louis XVI period resting on a foot with a frieze of gadroons. Plain body with fillets under the neck engraved on one side with a monogram stamped with a so-called Bridal Crown, all within 2 intertwined laurel branches forming a cartouche. On the other side an engraving in small characters with "A. DELAIDE à AY". Charge and Discharge Hallmark for the Jurisdiction of REIMS 1781-89, Common House Hallmark for REIMS 1785-86 and Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Antoine Nicolas ALLARD received in 1768.
