Odette Bruneau 1891-1984: oil on canvas depicting a young musician with a tam-tam signed lower right O.Bruneau dated 1943. Interesting subject, with a beautiful liveliness, with shimmering colors, very beautiful facial expression, a beautiful subject. Odette Bruneau born in Besançon in 1891, she studied at the Besançon School of Fine Arts, then went to Paris to take classes with Fernand Cormon. She won various prizes and then continued her career in Casablanca where she painted her most beautiful orientalist subjects.... a beautiful subject! a beautiful Bruneau for collectors!
