Autograph letter from the King of France Henri 5 addressed to the widow Berryer. Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné d'Artois, Duke of Bordeaux, better known by his courtesy title of "Count of Chambord" We are in the 19th century. Henri V (Henri Charles Ferdinand Marie Dieudonné d'Artois, Duke of Bordeaux) was born on September 29, 1820 in Paris (Tuileries Palace) and died on August 24, 1883 in: he lived 63 years. He is the son of Charles-Ferdinand d'Artois and Marie-Caroline of the Two Sicilies. He belongs to the Bourbon dynasty. He becomes king after the abdication of his uncle Louis XIX on August 2, 1830: he is then 10 years old. He will not be crowned. He will reign for 5 days (unproclaimed king). His successor will be his cousin Louis-Philippe I. His title will be King of France and Navarre. At the age of 26, he married Maria Theresa of Modena (July 14, 1817 – March 25, 1886) in 1846: she was 29 years old. She would live 69 years. There would be no children from this marriage.
