This church remains to be identified. The Besançon museum preserves an Interior of the church of Aubervilliers-les-vertus by Rondé.
The canvas is in very good condition, original frame in wood and gilded stucco.

Philippe Rondé born in Trier in Prussia in 1815 and died in Vimoutiers in Normandy on August 26, 1883 is a French painter, draftsman and illustrator. A student of Charles-Caïus Renoux and Louis Daguerre (one of the inventors of photography), Philippe Rondé participated in the development of their panoramas. For more than twenty years, he traveled the world: China, India and America.

Parisian Salons
Rondé exhibited at the Parisian Salons of 1839, 1840, 1841, 1842, 1845, 1847 and 1848. At these exhibitions, his subjects were French and European landscapes. Then in 1864, 1865 and 1879, he presented American, Mexican and Asian landscapes.
