From childhood his propensity for art and the need to learn beyond private tutors were clear. In 1884, at just fifteen years old, he enrolled at the Gazzola School of Art as a student of Pollinari and Stefano Bruzzi. His artistic evolution was decidedly precocious, so much so that in 1900, at just 20 years old, with a painting purchased by the Italian Royal House he won the encouragement prize at the Fine Arts of Parma. Shortly afterwards he achieved another success with the purchase of one of his works by the Belgian Royal House. When Stefano dies, Bruzzi joins his brother Pacifico in Paris. Since 1926 he has had intense professional relationships with Giuseppe Ricci Oddi. From 1928 to 1930 he held the chair of painting and plastic art at the Gazzola Institute in Piacenza. His works are present in several museums and important national and foreign private collections
