"Large Terracotta From Bargas "
Very beautiful and large terracotta by H. Bargas signed on the terrace. Here a naked woman in a sitting position with her legs stretched out. Visually very soft and of high quality! Artist sculptor born in Paris. Active in the 20s and 30s. Collaborated with Ruelland and Sandoz for animal sculpture. Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris in 1930. His work is inspired by Bourdelle's sculptures. Here is a very pretty piece very representative of his work. Dimensions of this sculpture: 65 cm long by 40 cm high by 12 cm wide. Very decorative! Quite heavy with good stability!
