Children at the barrier in a landscape of Brittany an oil on canvas by the painter Mayer Auguste, François signed and dated at the bottom right of the canvas. A repair patch on the back of the canvas. The painter was born in Brest in 1805 and died in the same place in 1890. Many museums preserve his works.
