Louis XV Style Bed, Cream Lacquered And Remoulded In Old Gold, Canework, Cane Headboard.

Very pretty Louis XV style bed in cream-colored lacquered wood and rechampi old gold. The head of our bed is made of painted cane in the same color as the woodwork. The cane is in perfect condition. Uncurved outward, this head rests on two snail-shaped feet and is finished with a beautiful winding. The upper crossbar is rounded and decorated with a beautiful floral motif in its center. The part forming the foot of the bed is very low, it is the same height as the two sides and has, like the two loofahs, a scalloped shape decorated with a sculpture of flowers and foliage. Two crossbars fit into four conical supports fixed on the two loofahs and support the bed base. Our bed is designed for a 140 cm X 190 cm bed. This bed is very easy to assemble using four lag screws, see photos.
