an interesting lost wax bronze. Charming patinated bronze dating from the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century and representing love cutting or repairing his bow.
Love, Eros, Cupid appears here in the form of a winged character, a putto or a kneeling angel busy repairing his bow.
the technique is very interesting and the lost wax casting allowed the sculptor to accentuate a personal approach which thus sketched the features and shapes of his Love by working in the spirit of the sketches of famous sculptors, which has the effect of giving this bronze a very great presence and a strong personality.
