Antique Tableware Set, Tablecloth 12 Linen Napkins, Dv Monogram Woven Into Damask Canvas

I present to you an old table service that comes from a rich bourgeois residence in Brittany. This early 20th century set is in damask linen fabric with geometric patterns and a medallion with branching patterns. The tablecloth includes two large medallions with a DV monogram woven directly into the fabric. Usually, the monogram is hand embroidered. Here it is directly woven, which is rare and the service was the subject of a special order. Beautiful quality fabric, heavy and supple linen amass. The tablecloth measures 275 cm by 160 cm. It has a small recovery. 12 napkins 80 cm by 66 cm. Set in beautiful condition, certainly little used, because the linen still has its gray color. Washed ironed starched by me.
