Lovely Limoges porcelain centerpiece that can be used as a vegetable dish. This is a piece by Jean Pouyat, one of the greatest porcelain makers in the world capital of fire arts. Torso shape with tree branch-style handles and a lid sculpted in high relief with a rosebud. Naturalist decoration with herbs and butterflies applied in chromolithography and hand-enhanced.
