Magnificent neo-gothic fireplace in richly carved oak wood - France 19th century. This wonderful 19th century fireplace was made with some panels from the 15th and 16th centuries. It is therefore of notable historical interest. The decorations have been molded and carved by hand. The wood is carved with coats of arms, lions, knights, chimeras, and classically Gothic symbols such as rosettes and geometric figures. These decorations give a medieval style to the fireplace.
