"Wooden Horse Between Toy And Sculpture"
An old toy dating back to at least the first half of the 19th century, this horse has lost its polychromy. Only the hooves have kept traces of it. Its tail is missing, but leather ears have resisted time. From a toy it has been transformed into a refined and elegant sculpture. It is solid and its wormholes should not worry anyone. The close-up photo shows traces of smoldering, proof of artisanal and pre-industrial manufacturing.
