Paul Rue (1866-1954) Landscape Crozant School

Delightful painting by Paul RUE, painter of the school of CROZANT. 
This artist who is listed in the reference book of Christophe RAMEIX: "Les peintres de la Creuse et de Gargilesse 1850 - 1950" was born in Châteauroux in 1866 and died in 1954.
He particularly liked to represent the landscapes of the Creuse and the Brenne.
He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français.
His works are exhibited in the museum of Châtre and Châteauroux. 
This painting using mauve, green and pink is very representative of the CROZANT school. 
It is painted on a canvas, mounted on cardboard.
It is signed and dated at the bottom left: Paul RUE. 17 for 1917.
The gilded wood frame is newer. 
Excellent condition, ready to be hung.
