"Pair Of Chilly Putti, 19th Century"
Pair of 19th century French bronze andirons with seated putti figures. Each putti is shown sitting by the fire, holding their blankets in one hand and bringing their other hand closer to the fire. Chubby and plump putti. In bronze and of fine quality they are presented with a brown patina on a gilt bronze base, decorated in a Louis XVI style, frieze of pearls, laurel tori, channels, leafy rosettes and friezes of leafy rosettes. Height: 35cm Width: 29.5cm Depth: 16.5cm Excellent original condition.
