Large Oval Trompe l'Oeil Dish Figuline Dlg De Palissy

Large and beautiful oval trompe l'oeil dish in the style of Bernard Palissy's creations. Signed "RG" on the underside. Mixed clay technique. Beautiful decoration of an animated pond: a lizard in the center and two frogs (one coming out of the water, one on the bank). In the water, we can recognize fish. 10 shells bordering the dish. Three leaves spring from the center of the basin. The border decorated in the style of pointillists in yellow and black on a light green background. The basin itself is navy blue mixed with purple. Condition of the dish: good general condition. Crack across the top right that does not affect the solidity of the dish. Old trace of restoration of a chip on the right side of the dish. The subjects are not impacted. See photo.
