Léon Zeytline - Oil On Canvas - Omnibus In Paris flag

Object description :

"Léon Zeytline - Oil On Canvas - Omnibus In Paris"
Exceptional scene by the Russian painter Léon ZEYTLINE representing the upper floor of the Parisian omnibus Madeleine-Bastille, where an elegant woman is sitting having an animated conversation with the man behind her.

A very rare subject in painting, a symbol of a bygone era that gave way to other means of transport (the "Compagnie Générale des Omnibus de Paris" ceased its activity in 1920).

An absolutely charming work, not to be missed !

A ZEYTLINE exhibition took place in Chatou in 2017, a new ZEYTLINE exhibition, which was a great success, took place at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Mulhouse in 2020.
