"Inkwell And Pen Holder In Blue Tinted Blown Glass - Normandy? Late 18th - Early 19th Century "
Curious inkwell in colorless and blue-tinted translucent glass. It consists of a round and flattened container, open at the top, and two lateral spouts stretched with pliers and enhanced with blue glass, also open, but probably of a purely decorative nature. Two "legs" in blue-tinted glass detaching from the object and located at the front allow the quill or pen holder to rest there. The foot is circular and slightly raised with a hem. The mark of the blower's cane is visible below. Probably from Normandy, late 18th - early 19th century. Dimensions: height 10 cm - maximum width 8.5 cm. Object in very good condition, without cracks or shocks, many small bubbles visible, especially at the back.
