Biography:
Albert GENTA Albert Genta is a French painter specializing in the nude, born September 13, 1901 in Paris 12th and died September 5, 1989 in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. He was the painter of the female nude par excellence, in his own works but also in illustration and the press. In March 1941, he exhibited a nude entitled "Femme endormie2" at the Salon des Indépendants.
He is also the author of numerous works, such as "Le dessin enseignant par l'exemple" (1949).
His works have been sold at public auction 158 times, mostly in the Painting category.
His works are mainly auctioned in France.
