Large wrought iron console in the Louis XV style. The scrolled console jambs are decorated with gilded acanthus leaves. They rest on small ball feet, and are connected by a spacer. The very openwork belt is decorated with a gilded shell. The top is a Siena marble. Very good condition. Period late 19th - early 20th century.
