"Pair Of Covered Vases In Crystal And Gilt Bronze, Lxvi Style"

Pair of Louis XVI-style crystal and gilt bronze covered vases dating from the late 19th, early 20th century, similar to Baccarat production.

The bronze base is decorated with garlands and foliage supporting the center of the crystal vase with a diamond-point motif. The top is decorated with garlands of flowers and the two handles are swan-neck shaped. An gilded bronze lid with a pinecone-shaped grip rests on the top.

This pair of vases was reassembled in the 1970s/1980s: a central rod was added to join the three vase parts (visible in the photos).

There is some wear, but the overall condition is good.
