"English Dining Room Hot Water Fountain, Early 19th Century "
Charming hot water fountain, early 19th century, Adam style, in red copper, brass, and silver (worn). This object was present in all good English dining rooms to make tea on demand, during Breakfast. The antique urn shape is typical of the taste for antiquity in this period. The interior is tinned, and a central chimney was intended to put embers to heat the water.. a few small shocks, but good general condition.
