The French rooster is proudly presented here to decorate these two gilded bronze coat racks. A rooster with outstretched wings stands on each side of the coat rack, the whole is screwed onto a stained wooden "escutcheon" panel. These are probably panels added later and can therefore be separated, but the whole is quite pleasant and successful.
