"Louis XVI Period Armchair Stamped Jean-baptiste Boulard"
Armchair à la Reine, in molded, carved and lacquered beech wood, resting on 4 tapered, fluted and rudenté legs.

The molded belts are assembled by connecting dice carved with flowers.

Beautiful cushion upholstery in very good condition.

It bears under one belt, an iron mark of a property "TS" and under another crosspiece the stamp "JBBOULARD".

Parisian work from the Louis XVI period

Good condition

Jean-Baptiste BOULARD (around 1725 - March 29, 1789), lived and worked rue de Cléry. Received master on April 17, 1755, he is known as an attaché in the service of the Garde Meuble de la Couronne, for which he worked from 1777. He leaves a work of very fine workmanship with a little sculpture, but nervous and well-defined moldings.
