"Antique Victorian Garnet Pearl Necklace 9ct Gold Lavaliere"
This superb Victorian Amethyst and pearl gold necklace was handcrafted in England around 1880. A very interesting design with six moving pearl dangles. A large Amethyst Centre stone weighing 1.6 carats and the others weigh 0.60 carats total. The overall weight is 4.8 grams and the is solid 9 carat gold hallmarked on the clasp. The size of fitment is for a 14.5 inch neck. The whole thing is is in fine condition and ready to use This gorgeous lavaliere pendant dates to the late 1800's Victorian era. The lavaliere is named for the type of pendant popularized by the Duchesse de la Vallire, a mistress of King Louis XIV of France.
