"Antique Turtleshell Piquè Gold Earrings"
We have a pair of antique earrings with a round big turtleshell cabochon decorated with piquè inlaid points of gold in two colors. It is contoured by a twisted gold threads. Down we have a fringe of small turtleshell beads. Piquè is the old art of inlay small gold points in the turtleshell. Very light and wearable. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). From Naples. End of the 19th century. They are in perfect condition.- Size : cm 4
