"Small Irons Leather Box"
Very pretty wooden box trimmed with leather. Beautiful complex decoration of gilding with small irons. Interior trimmed with scarlet silk in good condition. Stamped under the box "Palazzo Barberini Giovanna Ginocchi". A beautiful silver metal mascaron adorns the lid. And four small bronze claw feet finish the four lower corners. This box is a magnificent work of leather sheathing on a wooden structure and work of gilding with small irons. Period late 19th century.
