A beautiful matching pair of Capodimonte porcelain figurines depicting a courtly lady and her cavalier, resting on molded round bases. The figures are hand-painted with rich, vivid enamels and dressed in Georgian-era costumes. The woman's skirt is decorated with delicate floral bouquets, and the man's waistcoat is adorned with scrolls. Both figures are richly embellished with gilding.
Made in Italy by Tiche Porcellane d'Arte, with the artist's signature "Galletti" on the base. Produced in the second half of the 20th century.
