Rare round dish in solid silver from the Louis XV period, fillets contours model. Margin engraved with Coat of Arms of Alliance under Crest (Crown stamped with wings spread with crescent). Charge Hallmark (large Crowned A) and Discharge Hallmark (Ox Head) for PARIS 1774-80, Jurande Hallmark for PARIS 1775 (date letter "M") and Hallmark of the renowned Master Goldsmith Pierre-François GOGLY (Hallmark with the initials "PFG and a fly) received in 1768 and this after having done his final apprenticeship with Sr Lambert Goldsmith of the King. This very rare Armorial Dish from the Louis XV period is in very good general condition and well hallmarked, beautiful patina, micro-scratches of use.
