Beautiful Ebonite Medallion, Decorated With Putti, Allegory Of Music, Europe 19th Century

Very nice ebonite medallion, cylindrical in shape. Ebonite, a material invented by Charles Goodyear in 1839, using rubber by the process of sulfur vulcanization. Beautiful decoration in high relief, of Putti as an allegory of music. On the back, a brass hook to hang it, a pretty Gilt wooden frame would be most effective!
Very good general condition, note, a very small chip in the upper part, well shown in my detailed photos, please look at them carefully, I hide nothing!
European working, English or French, dating from the second part of the 19th century.
