This is a great example of the Gobbo pattern folders from the Italian region ABRUZZO made in the first half of the 20th century.
The knife features a carbon steel blade mounted on a nice carved horn handle. Blade with two facets on each side, two slanted side panels and pronounced false edge. The handle is fashioned with two plates of horn without a supporting liner. It is a slip joint knife with the blade held in position by a very strong back-spring.
Blade shows remnants of a stamp, the only word clearly readable is Milano
The knife remains in excellent conditions, handle with no chips or cracks. Blade is very sharp and still has a very firm snap.
15,5 cm folded and 27,5cm in fully extended position
