Cast iron fireback with refined motifs representing a draped woman overlooking a man lying at the foot of a tree.I have not found the meaning of this allegory.
Probably dates from the 18th century as evidenced by the traces of wear at the bottom of the plate, as well as a small, barely perceptible hole.
