Blown glass postilion cup,
travel glass or for bedridden patients.
Early 19th century glassware. Thick glassware cup, thick bottom, fitted with a hot-applied spout, partially closed, covered in a concave shape (in the shape of a slight funnel) to allow drinking while traveling or bedridden.
Central hole to allow filling.
Very good condition.
Dimensions: 8.6 cm high (8.8 cm at the spout) x 7.6 cm in diameter (9.2 cm wide at the spout)

Note: a similar glass can be seen at the Postal Museum.
