Rare patinated bronze oil lamp in the shape of eagle talons with a naturalistic cast, bearing the bust of a satyr on a baluster column, after Severo Calzetta da Ravenna The back of the head can be opened and filled with oil, the mouth with the tongue out contains a tube for the wick. Severo Calzetta da Ravenna nicknamed the Master of the Dragons. This sculptor worked between Ravenna, Ferrara and Padua between the end of the 15th century and the middle of the 16th century. A number of bronze objects are attributed to him, preserved in various museums around the world.
