The painted porcelain portrait of the elegant lady from the 18th century is surrounded by a circle of laurel leaves just like the exterior of the box but of a larger dimension, on each side of the portrait, two applications with scroll decorations. The sides are also decorated with flower and ribbon decorations. The interior is in green velvet in perfect condition, probably reupholstered later. This box dates from the second half of the 19th century.
