Very beautiful pastel representing the portrait of a young child wearing a pretty purple bow on his collar. This magnificent portrait made in pastel has kept very beautiful colors. It is signed lower right J.Dangon. It is sold in a beautiful oval and gilded frame topped with a Louis XVI style bow and decorated with laurel leaves. Jeanne Dangon (1873-1949) born in Lyon, student of J.Lefebvre, B.Constant, and JP Laurens. She exhibited in Paris where she settled.
