Very large reliquary bust depicting a man in armor "à la Romaine". Beautiful painted and gilded wooden sculpture on an original square pedestal with a central angel's head. The heart of the bust is hollowed out to house the reliquary space. The window of this reliquary space is framed in a medallion and glazed. Very spectacular and decorative bust with its large dimensions (76 CM high) and its style; in addition, the richly treated clothing in the Antique style is an additional decorative asset. Note that a second bust is also visible in our display case and available at the same price to present them as a pair (same dimensions / same characteristics and provenance / see last photo).
