Wall console with belt and openwork legs, carved and gilded in two tones: rich gold and old gold. This console is characterized by its molded wood with a beautiful medallion with a laurel wreath in its center, topped with a Louis XVI knot. On either side a thick garland of laurels crosses the belt. Ovals underline each line of this intriguing console. It rests on two sheathed front legs, festooned with ovals. An antique Cipolin marble from Greece 2 cm thick, with projections at the corners and a groove around its perimeter, embellishes the whole. ******** Period: Mid-19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
