Indonesia, Majapahit period, circa 15th century, rare and superb bronze bell, finely crafted, decorated with a geometric pattern around its upper part, topped with a large ring for handling or fixing. Bronze clapper fixed with a chain. Beautiful patina of age. Good condition. Provenance: collected on site in 1975 by its previous owner, a great lover of Indonesian culture. Height 9.8 cm. Width 11.5 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
