"19th Century Silver Metal Holy Water Font"
Magnificent holy water font in silver metal. It is composed of many details in the center is the Virgin and Jesus. We find the tetramorph at their side. The scene takes place in an antique architecture. In the upper part are three angels holding a phylactery on which is written: "Gloria in excelcis deo". In the left part is Saint Philomena. In the upper part, below a canopy is a coat of arms. Beautiful ornamentation. A small attachment is missing from the holy water font but it is still fixed. Very beautiful work from the end of the 19th century.
