Pair of gilt bronze and black patina candlesticks decorated with satyr children, holding the arms of the candlestick decorated with bunches of vines. Rustic demigod represented as a being with a human body with goat's legs, elongated and pointed ears, curved horns and tail. (Brothers of the nymphs, the satyrs were associated with the cult of Dionysus, god of wine) 19th century. Dimensions: 29cm high 25cm wide each.
