Large and beautiful brass oil lamp (kerosene) in the shape of a Roman lamp on a round base with a green opaline lampshade and glass chimney. Made by WILD and WESSEL in Berlin in the 1890s. The initials WW and the model number 1373 are inscribed under the base of the lamp, it also bears the inscription "VESTA Wild and Wessel Berlin" on the front. Company founded in 1855 by Emil Wild and Wilhelm Wessel. In very good condition, a micro chip on the inner edge of the glassware, visible in the photo. Electrification redone. Height 53 cm.
