Gilded wood mirror from the Empire Restoration period (early 19th century, circa 1820). Large, simple moldings, gilded with gold leaf in matt and shiny, mercury glass. Elegant format, neither too large nor too small, which lends itself well to use as a trumeau above a fireplace, to place on a chest of drawers or to hang. The moldings being symmetrical, it can be installed lengthwise or widthwise. It is in excellent condition, the gilding has been cleaned by our gilder. Width: 81.5cm Height: 117cm
